Issue five of Mudo zine is complete and available now. We will be adding in to the online store along with issue four in the coming days and it will be available at both Top of the World and Antique skateshop.
In this issue we have an interview with Zero rider, New Balance team manager, new “rad dad”, and all round ripping Scotsman John Rattray. An article on the specific and very real challenges facing young women in skateboarding and how they are being overcome, featuring Lois Pendlbury and Kirsten Ebeling with a very personal foreword about her own experiences written by Caroline Farrell. We have a collection of imagined correspondence and pictures from skaters around the world in “Postcards”. There is a catch up with Matt Pataffe; one of Canada’s most promising up and comers who disappeared just as quickly as he came up. And as usual we wrap up with a little poetry to get the left and right lobes equally stimulated.
We also feature skating from the likes of Dylan Cousineau, Jamie Bolland, Paul Gillmartin, Seb Labbe, Adam Logan, James Abraham, Andrew White, and many more.
